HELPFUL
HINTS:Suggestions if unit is not operating:
1. Check air filter - Replace if dirty. Dirty air filters cause a majority of system malfunctions. Filters should be changed on a regular basis.
2. Make sure units have power.
a. Check ON/OFF switch at indoor and outdoor units.
b. If applicable, make sure red emergency switch in living space is on.
c. Check circuit breakers - Systems typically have two breakers, one for the indoor unit and one for the outdoor unit.
3. Check thermostat switches and settings - If thermostat is a programmable thermostat, it may require batteries. Replace batteries if needed. Some thermostats may need to be reset after weak batteries are replaced. Refer to your thermostat manual for instruction.
